I think Toney would have been able to handle Tua's power @ HW. Tua only fought one way coming forward and Toney thrived on fighters who came to him. Would have been a one sided schooling on the inside for Toney.

Toney never fought a live opponent in his heavyweight move.....

Ancient Holy, washed up Rahman and caveman zero skill not even real punching power Peter.......who he lost to twice while hitting the deck from a simple jab.......nothing but cherry picking bums.

But but Ruiz.........Tua finished that fraud in seconds while Toney walzed for 12 on roids.......

Toney would not go near a Tua up to the Ike fight........he is stupid but not that stupid.......but he would fight the version Monte Barret got a hold of.

Very interesting fight. Toney really wasn't a mover, which is a bad thing not to be against Tua. Nevertheless, I think he'd outbox him and win a close one, possibly by split decision.

    I was being sarcastic.

I could see Toney schooling Tua as well. The best version of Tua has a shot but I don't see him stopping Toney in any scenario. The guy was incredibly durable and defensively savvy.
