Who wins these two fights? Assuming it's the Joney from the Jirov fight and say, Dempsey from Toledo and Marciano from the....second Charles fight?

Does Toney have enough defensive skill to outclass these two?

Toney gets KO'd by Dempsey and if he's lucky he gets KO'd by Marciano. If he's unlucky he absorbs the type of beating that leaves a guy retired.

I agree with this post 100%....a LONG Marciano fight could be a career ruiner but Toney gets KO'd by both men

I agree with all of the above. Toney absorbs brutal beat downs from both of these guys. They'e both bigger, stronger, hit harder, meaner, and most importantly, better conditioned. Jirov or a washed up Holyfield is nothing like what these guys could bring.

p.s. If you think Toney has a shot against the Rock, I have 1 question. Was Toney craftier than Archie Moore?

Toney's craftiness and counterpunching, not to mention concrete chin, would make him a difficult assignment but he would still lose to both.

Toney-Marciano would be a complete replay of marciano-moore(without the 2nd round knockdown).

toney vs dempsey would be interesting since dempsey never fougt that type of slick counterpuncher style, but i fully expect dempsey to overwhelm toney on the inside and stop him midway.

Make no mistake, as a big Toney fan I'd still favour Marciano and Dempsey against him. But I don't think they'd KO him. Toney is an all-time defensive master with an ATG chin. He could've fought in any era. Plus Dempsey and Marciano have that come-forward style that plays right into Toneys hands, he could just lie on the ropes and rely on his brilliant counterpunching. I think a lot of people would be surprised how much trouble the ultra-tough warrior Toney would give both legends Marciano and Dempsey. His skills are above theirs, no question. A motivated, in-shape Toney like the one that fought Jirov would be game, believe me. Toney is just as much an old-school fighter as the old legends.
In the end, I think both Dempsey and especially Marciano would have too much for Toney and simply outwork him, winning clear decisions. No KO tho...

I would heavily favour both Dempsey and Marciano over Toney, although James might be able to last the distance against Dempsey I mean Gibbons did the only way he beats Rocky is if Marciano get himself DQ'd.

Would Marciano and Dempsey get to take steroids too?

Toney is a tough match up for either man. I would not say he would win but he would survive and be tough ... was he craftier than Archie Moore, doubtful ... he did have a better chin and was younger .... some guys don't get knocked out and Toney is one of them ... he would make both guys fight and work .. he did not have the power to seriously hurt either legend .... that is why I say both beat him ...
