Toney had issues with discipline and consistency, but on form he would give Whyte fits. Totally different league as far as actual skills go.
The one that beat Evander was in decent enough shape and still close enough to his prime to give Whyte all kinds of problems and he had the defence and chin to go the distance, so Toney could win a decision. He's just on another level in terms of skill, all Whyte has is size.
Well we see light punching Franklin who's short for a Heavyweight who relied on his skills and defense run Whyte very close. So not out of the realms that Toney at his best wins a decision.
