I would love to see this fight. You take a Jaes Toney when on top of his game as a heavyweight or even cruiserweight and you put him against Floyd Patterson of the late 50's early 60's. How do you guys see this one playing out? I don't know about you guys but I'd love to have seen James Toney as a heavyweight, light heavyweight or middleweight competing in the 50's and 60's lots of fighters claim to be old school but "Lights Out" truly was an old school fighter.
Wonderful fight! Pure, highly skilled boxing match with barely a clinch in sight. Patterson to win a close points decision, utilising good foot work and hand speed, after a cracking fight where Toney lands plenty of counter punches and wobbles Floyd more than once.
