Really does emphasise the difference in skill level between the guys back then to the guys of today. Toney was class as everyone knows. Mcllellan himself could have been one of the best with the right mindset imo. He was naturally gifted. Had the tools. Physically almost perfect for the style. Just the mindset/professionalism seemed a bit off. Pretty sure i remember steward saying mclellan could have been the best of them all. You can kind of see that a bit when watching him...maybe not the best of them all bearing in mind the level of talent steward worked with...but he could well have been up there if not.
