    CST when analyzing atgs and fighters still fighting you can't use the Toney who struggled with a tough Johnson or cramped up against Tiberi. You use the best Toney. Should we use the GG who fought Ouma or Murray? That's why I wait until they're retired. GG's resume is incomplete. Toneys is complete.

    Lets not get it twisted about what we a discussing here.

    James "Lights Out" Toney is a Three DIVISION WORLD CHAMPION, who fought better Golovkin level competition in EACH of those three weight classes, and who unlike Golovkin, actually did knock out heavyweights.

    He had one of those final boxing records that CST likes to pick on and make light of;

    76-10-3 and 2NC

    James Toney is one of the few remain "Old School" boxers, the likes which are rarely seen today in the sport.

    If Golovkin plans on equalling or exceeding this A Class level of excellence, then he had better inform K2 to get him fighting 5-10 times per year for the few years he has remaining.

    He don't do elites which is why he ducked Lara, BHOP and Ward, and chooses to stay at 160 where there are no elites. Not one.
