No. Great fighters KO the unstoppable. Fatboy would be slaughtered by prime Lewis.

    LOL, the Toney Heavyweight Mirage.......

Won against the shot to pieces Ghost of Holyfield......by corner stoppage........Mike Tyson beats a 38 year old Holmes who has never been ko'ed but when Toney gets a win against a 42 year old scrap metal it is career defining....

Needed PED's against one of the worst Title holders EVER in Huggybear....

Could not park a room temperature glass chinned Rahman....

Lost twice against a no skill fat slow as molasses caveman Peter and was put on his azz by a freaking jab....

Toney was MIA when Holyfiled /Tyson/Bowe/Lewis were the Top guys.............he aint the sharpest tool in the shed but he was smart enough to keep his mouth shut then....

All of the above except Holyfield will stop him.......because he has nothing in terms of punching power to keep them off him, sitting in the pocket with Bowe/Tyson is suicide and Lewis will jab him to death, followed by the right, lean on him, hold behind his head and uppercut him to death.........Holyfiled will decision him due to lack of punching power but it will not even be close.

LOL, the Mohawk guy lasted 12.........he was a genuine Heavy close to 6'4 not a fat Middle weight PED Midget.

Back to Toneys best opponent who had a pulse, Sam Peter, again, Tyson/Bowe/Lewis/Holyfield would that wide swinging zero defense Oaf, couple of them would stop him face down...a total mis match.......getting tagged by a timid china chinned WK looking to survive aint the same when the above looking to decapitate you .

I suggest you take a 2nd look or maybe 1st look at the Holyfield-Toney fight in that case.

Toney was a fat middleweight. But, he was less fat against Holyfield than he was for the majority of his stint at Heavyweight - which, in realty, was nothing particularly special.

Ah, but - The Morlocks does so have a penchant for the dramatic.

Though, I'd have to say that, while Lewis could be taken the distance, I think the outlook would be bleak for Toney. He never encountered the behemoths of the division and I would have leant towards the side of a stoppage loss for Toney, had he ever done so.

James Toney was a great , great fighter but he was not beatig a prime Lennox Lewis at heavyweight, no way. Maybe Lewis just jabs and out boxes him over the distance easily or maybe he catches Toney and stops him but either way it's all Lewis.

Toney is a great fighter & would pose Lewis problems, very slippery & a quick counterpuncher but he is a small heavyweight.
Lewis is far bigger & naturally stronger, chin slightly suspect but i don't think Toney hits hard enough to knock him out.
I figure a long fight with Lewis keeping Toney at range & frustrating him with his jab & right cross, i don't think Lewis knocks Toney out either, but may hurt him sufficiently to cause a stoppage at some point, Toney would have moments but Lewis would ultimately be too big.

Bad matchup for Toney. He gives most heavyweights a problem but Lewis is just too big

Golota was considered unstoppable so was Ruddock.

Lewis via Wide UD (maybe a shutout) or Mid-to-Late Stoppage. Lewis is probably the worst fighter stylistically at HW for Toney to face.

I'm a Lewis fan and all, but he failed to KO the best chins in the division. Didn't KO Holyfield. Didn't KO Mercer. Didn't KO McCall (the second fight, McCall had a mental breakdown and didn't continue, he wasn't hurt at all)

6'5" and his best KO punch is an overhand right. I can see this as being an issue.
