I'll take Toney. Tunney? Tooney? Whoever.

Toney would win. Given his age, size, and debatable decisions against him, I think Toney did well at heavyweight. People don’t give him enough credit for beating the hell out of Holyfield. I think he’d do the same to Baer.

No doubt. People call that version of Holyfield wasted at that point, but he was still a damn good fighter amongst the other heavyweights of the 2000's.

A stoppage win for Toney is the one thing that almost certainly wouldn't happen.

I had Toney winning the first Peter fight, but I don't think that Holyfield was fit to be in the ring when Toney beat him.

Of course Kamikaze finds another way to bring up Foreman in a thread that has sweet **** all to do with him.

Imagine being this obsessed with someone you’ve never met. Absolutely pathetic.

I’d go with Toney. The exact nature of the outcome I’m uncertain of

Baer at his best beats Toney at his heavyweight best. Toney’s heavyweight resume is unimpressive to say the least. Couple of good wins but quite a few losses against so/so opponents.

Yes but I don't think that Toney is one of them.

If my math is correct Toney was
9-5-1 with two NC at heavyweight.

Hard fight to call. I’m not big on Baer so my initial reaction is to take Toney. Toney would see Baer’s haymakers from a mile away and counter him to death. At same time Toney wasn’t big enough to compete with heavies if the heavyweight was smart. The point was never more illustrated than in Toney’s two fights with Peter.
In the first fight - Peter clearly believing he was so much bigger and stronger than Toney, attempted to walk threw Toney and over committed on his power punchers leaving himself vulnerable to snappy counters over and over again. The fight was close and Toney may have edged it.
Rematch happens -Peter makes slight adjustment to stand back - Jab a little more and not over commit and what happens he beat the living snot out of James.
