I wish this rematch would have taken place in 2003. Lets say instead of moving up to heavyweight to face serial hugger John Ruiz, Jones instead decided to meet Toney. This would be around the time Toney fought Jirov. Toney was unbelievable when he fought Jirov, extremely sharp and focussed.

I remember at the time, I so badly wanted this fight to be made. It would have been a great fight.

    Who takes it?

I say Toney would take a hard fought UD and gain his revenge and redemption.

    What say you?

Roy Jones always beats Toney. Toney has slower footwork and can appear off balance when he has to force the fight. He needs his opponent to come to him where he feels comfortable. Against Jones he wouldn't get that opportunity, as we saw in their first fight Jones neutralised him by potshotting and getting out before Toney had a chance.
