    I want to see what the board thinks, maybe I'm way off. The best part is we can all watch and score the fights ourselves. If I have the time, I'm going to score Johnson vs Toney myself. One judges card looks like BS.

    One website I've been mentioning lately is Eye on the Ring, where the fans score the fights. Its interesting, you should check it out. See all the good stuff than can come out of this thread? :) :yaay

    Current boxing prospect have nothing to due with this thread, but I am willing to wager you that Hrgovic fights for a title, it won't take him 27 pro fights to get there.

    He didn't actually point his gun at his manager. That's a misnomer. He tried, but Toney's mother warned Jacks he was on his way.

    Yes, Wlad offered him a title fight. Toney ran his mouth. A heavyweight title was on the line with a purse. Toney balked and took a fight for less money vs a nobody. That's how it went down. Do you want more details? You can learn something. :) Facts.

    IMO Wlad's busts him up badly with his jab, and is too rangy to worry about his shorter armed counters. Once Wlad lands his right Hand, Toney won't lead often. Look Sam Peter outboxed this PED cheater. Wlad would do a real number on him.

    The fact that Toney is fighting at heavyweight is crazy. He didn't run from the Klitschko Brothers, he was just never really ranked highly enough to get those fights when the K Bros were at the top.

    He looses to Jones, Hagler and Monzon, Hopkins could go either way as could Calzaghe although i slightly favour Toney.

    Trying to kill someone with a gun is serious business, which Toney did. Charges could have been press for attempted murder. Thankfully it did not happen, How do you know where he pointed his gun? You don't.

    Antony Joshua would do away with Toney in quicker and more impressive fashion than Wlad would.
    Whats more noteworthy than Toney not fighting Wlad , is the fact he had far less trouble against Sam Peter than Wlad did. Bid deal
    The way Toney outboxed Sam Peter is nothing short of embarrassing for Wlad who flopped to the canvas 3 times in a fight that was a life n death struggle

    I used to think that, but this is boxing and some guys need money. Toney who was packing a 6 pack of hot dogs on the back of his neck was just too fat to fight in another division. He was popular, and set up the best type of fights for him. People followed his act, but it was really he PED's that allowed him to compete. He did have a title offer vs Wlad Klitschko, and declined.

    As a rule, no, I do not like mouthy racists waving guns. But do I like James Toney, yes. He's the exception to confirm the rule in this case. Does that make him an angel? **** no. And btw, none of those quotes you wrote were explicitly racist.
