James Toney vs. Tiberi is still the worst robbery I have ever seen

What is there to laugh about. 80+ fights there is bound to be tricky opponents and bad nights.

I've seen lots of people talk like he was unbeatable and scoff at the idea of certain match ups having the potential to be competitive. The other day I saw people on here dismissing the idea of Eubank Sr. being able to give him a fight.

Yeah well i think JT would beat Eubank. But there are bound to be bad moments and bad styles in your career. James is great boxer and he has said he has great respect for Tiberi. He cant choose judges. It is just in boxing system that name guy wins rounds where nothing hapens like in first three in Floyd vs McGregor.

I think Toney would rightly be the favourite but people using Eubank's worst performances and comparing that to Toney's best is hardly fair is it?

Toney had more than his fair share of off nights and that should be taken into account. That said he was a great watch at his best. I don't think I've seen anyone fight from the waist as well as he did when he was on form.

Thats is true. Toney had many of those and as a lower level boxer can understand :D But I do think both of them are great fighters just thinking best night vs best night would go to Toney. But it would be great fight to see. Pity it didnt

A local guy to me sparred Toney a couple of times. He reckoned he was the surliest, most arrogant man he's ever met and he met Ike who he also wasn't wasn't keen on.

He's pushing 60 now and still serving as an 'opponent' for these ageing white collar bankers to 'win' fights.

He said he pretty much ignored him after the session which was weird as it's not like anything untoward occurred. He's quite a happy go lucky bloke though so maybe his cheerful demeanour pissed Toney off.

He just has a move around and let the other guy win really. I know he once got in trouble for decking an idiot who was aggressively trying to take his head off.

I don't think I could give these bankers and stockbrokers a W so they can say they've boxed.
