:risas3: Have a day off. Toney has absolutely nothing to stop Joe Joyce. Is he gonna shoulder roll in the pocket all night against a 270lb 6’6 man mountain?

    He'd be too small.

Joyce`s jab doesn`t travel far, he would have out-jabbed the Holy that lost to Toney.

Too many punches would come Toney`s way.

Ruiz fell off balance too much after he punched.

James Toney is a former middleweight. What do people expect from him?

Even during his own era he wouldn't have had that much luck with the top 10 heavyweights

    2003 ringside heavyweight rankings
Lennox Lewis - would have slaughtered Toney.
Vitali Klitschko - Acctually a hard fight to predict, Vitali wouldn't have landed a glove on the fellow.
Chris Byrd - Would have found a way to win.
Corrie Sanders - Too much of a wildcard for a prediction to be made.
Roy Jones Jr. - Roy had Toney's number.
James Toney - very hard fight to predict.
David Tua - Would have smashed Toney.
John Ruiz - Got smashed by Toney.
Wladimir Klitschko - A 2003 Wlad was just a loser.
Fres Oquendo - I never really studied how he boxes, lets just say that James wins.
Mike Tyson - predicting a Tyson win in 2003 is incorrect.

So James wins 4 of those fights
    Loses 4
Two of these fights are too hard to predict the outcome of

Wilder would have had a huge issue timing Toney with a bomb.

Nobody in the top 10 would have struggled with him?

Have you seen who’s in the top 10?

    Sanchez
    Hrgovic
    Whyte
    Parker
    Ruiz
    Ortiz
    Joyce

He’d have had a reasonable chance against some of them, based upon his style and his skills.

Tony was never a legit HW. I loved him at his natural weight but come on. He was a blown up middleweight. Usyk would destroy him. Fury would probably do it more thoroughly and quickly. AJ wouod jab him to death and beat him like the Fat Andy 2 fight. He might beat a John Ruiz level HW but I don’t see him beating any top ten modern HW. No knock on James, he only fought above SMW because he ate his way into the higher classes.
