Here's a very hard fight for me to picture. James Toney's outstanding craft against The Duke's natural ability, brute force and physical advantages...Hows this one play out?

I think Wlad would have stopped him, his straight right down the pipe would hurt him badly and he'd stop him IMO.

James Toney is a very hard guy to stop because of his defensive skills and not only that his composure and toughness. Toney had the kinda mindset that he wouldn't allow himself to be hurt(if that makes sense). Its very key for boxers to learn to ignore pain some do it better then others, James and Ali come to mind as two of the best at doing this. I don't see Morrison stopping Toney I just don't think he has the stuff to set up the KO against "Lights out". With that being said there are heavyweights I think that would've been too much for Toney and likely would've finished him off. Wlad very possibly, Vitali as well, Foreman I think would be too much for him and many others could possibly do it.......And With that being said I think a lot of people underate Toney's run as a heavyweight. He was very good even when completely out of shape. I thought he did enough to beat both Rahman and Peter who were both forces to be reckoned with just on their sheer brute force. He also dominated Dominick Guinn IMO shut him out. Whooped John Ruiz and looked great in dismantling an old Evander Holyfield. Not a bad resume over a couple years...
