Agree ... and to be frank, I don't think Evander's terribly far behind them. He's still lucid and seems basically OK, but has still lost a step or three - and he took some terrific poundings in his career. I can't help but think that bill's gonna come due at some point, and if he gets back in ring it's only going to accelerate the process.

 

It looked pretty finished last time I saw it.

I just dont think any of them are equal anymore. Some are in less shape than others and 50 years old, the body can be hurt more. It seems very risky.

Yeah maybe. Hard to say but I would put my money on Toney if I had to bet from that outing against Holyfield with Sherman the tank williams.
Toney won his last one and got WBF championship so I would think he is more ready than guys who havent have match in ten+ years. But who knows

 

Toney at the end was way overweight and had balance problems he liked to lay aginst ropes and counter you.

In holyfield fight he was in great shape, but was never in shape after that.

Holy tried to bully Toney and that was not the right game plan. He tought that he could ko him but toney has granite chin.

If holy would use his hight and reach and fight at distance imo he would have won.

Holy nielsen fight v toney of shepard fight i think holy could win using right gameplan.

Btw that was a quit from Holy aginst Tank Williams.

It was like karma for all them headbutts and williams made it clear that he will not be headbutted by punching on break and made holyfield very unconfortabe, and then Holy the warrior quit what seemed like cut that did not impact vision.

I believe in that fight he understood and his delussions of ever becoming a champ again was over.
