Toney is a fat MW for ****s sake, who can compete with HWs because of his skills and toughness alone! Acknowledge that. Again, give credit where credit is due! Yes he beat Peter in their first fight, and yes it was more exciting (if not as dominant) than Vitali-Peter. It's not that difficult to understand...

I actually managed to read all of your senseless, biased, unobjective comments to this thread. It is highly annoying that Toney's status as a great fighter is still questionned by some. How can anyone with some boxing knowledge put Toney's achievements in doubt - love him or hate him, Toney is a sure hall of fame inductee. His records speaks for itself for christ sake. I understand that Toney's up and downs can lower his status to some degree but in the end Toney must be viewed as a trully exceptional fighter with great skills. He clearly belongs in the same league as Jones or Hopkins.
