Solis' people won't ruin his future by having him exposed by Toney...I think Arreola is promoted by Goosen Tutor (and has been a sparring partner of Toney), so don't look for Dan to shoot himself in the foot there...even though James would school him.

Toney can still, in the condition he just beat Rahman's ass in, be competitive with anybody...and he will be in better shape.

Well, I do not if Warren still handles Harrison. The report has been written by Steve Kim who usually knows his stuff.

Toney will not go to Germany as you can not win decisions over there. Remember Juan Gomez, Toney prefers staying in the states.

Warren signed audley at somepoint last year. Then he got sparked by Sprott and dissapeard for a while with an injury. Hes making a return against some one whoose surname is Rogan (i think) on the Amir Khan show on the 6th of september. IF ever khan needed to look at a fellow olympian and see how wrong a career can go he only has to look at Harrison.

Toney should pack it in. He was getting outboxed by Sam Peter. fantastic fighter but sooner or later someone is gunna land enuff of him to take him out. He cant compete with the elite heavy weights anymore despite having more talent than most of them put together. Father time is knocking on the door

I agree, Toney still belongs in the Top 10 heavyweights. It is a shame, he still has exceptional skills and people won't fight him because they are scared. It was the same thing in the cruiserweight division as Toney had to take an eliminator to get a title fight. A lot of boxers are scared to fight him.

Maybe a Thompson-Toney fight is possible as both fighters are promoted by Goosen.

Yeah, since, I believe the first Williams fight. Audley was abviously going nowhere at that point, and Warren probably had some kinda 'options' on him anyway. It probably seemed clever for Audley to jusy sign with the *******.

As bad as frank Warren is, Audlay made a total mess of his 'self promoted' career. Warren would have done a little better I think...

He was outjabbed by Peter but Toney didn't train right for that fight. His usual upperbody movement was missing as he did too much muscle training. Against Rahman he did the appropriate adjustments and was vastly improved defensively.

It is always a mistake to underestimate Toney even at this stage of his career. He has proven that time in time again.

i never new audley signed a contract with warren.

if you watch the sprott fight when sprott lands the left hook that ko`d audley ,warren was straight on his feet in the background as if he had just done it himself celebrating wildly punching the air in delight.

thats why i am surprised to learn that audley and warren are an item.

It doesn't do enough for James...he needs a 50-50 split with one of the champs...he's an ATG and he shouldn't be taking anymore punches that aren't going to get him anywhere.

...Haye should fight him, winner gets WLAD. :yep

How about a great fighter that has turned into a fat slob and a glassjawed superheavy gold medalist that will never be the heavy champ of the world. Sound about right?

The only problem i see Suge is , How does a fighter benefit from fighting Toney. If you lose, thats a HUGE hit on your record, and if you win, most will say "doesnt mean anything, Toney is way past his prime"

    Thoughts?
