    Your kidding right? Toney/Golata

It would be a fun fight to watch just to see who freaks out 1st in the ring (I say golata low blows 1st) But as an eliminator fight?

Neither guys deserves a title shot especially Golata :-(

Toney never freaked out in a fight, and he never lowblowed anyone. He's a very clean fighter.

As for Golota, that's another tale...

Toney may not be physically on top anymore (he hasn't been in a loooong time), but he still got more skills than any other HW out there. He still got something left, and he proved it in his last (ultimately disappointing) fight.

    Your Right.
Toney just waits until after the fight. I hope Jim Grey stays out of the ring this time

Its because Toney is out of shape. Did you see the size of him against Peter?
I was at that fight. Toney had bigger tits than 1/4 of the ladies at the Staple Center:lol:

Ultimately it is a good thing, that he didn’t get involved in that Vitali Klitchko saga.
Vitali would have backed down because of a injury, just like he did against Rahman. :deal

I agree with you here. Toney, at his age and at this advanced stage of his career, should waste no time by just waiting for his turn for a bigger fight. He needs to fight the best possible opponent every 2 months, just as he did in he did in his smw days. Toney is so relaxed in the ring that tune up fights don't take any toll on his body. He should follow Foreman or more recently McCall's blueprint by fighting regularly in order to earn either a title shot or an elimination fight. Everyone who followed Toney's career knows that the best way to keep him away from food is to keep him busy. I understood that Toney wanted to fight at the beginning of August in Detroit and that his promoter talked him out of it. Gossen needs to to realize that Toney will only get media attention and gain fan support support (and subsequently enforce another title shot) if he performs regurlarly and shows up in decent shape. A ko win would also suit Toney well, since he hasn't won by ko since his fight with Holyfield over 5 years ago...

Toney is the best skilled fighter in the division. His future is whatever he makes of it.

Give him 50-50 and he'll fix either KLIT's resume for them...

I saw Lights Out about a week ago, he looked like he was in good shape, seems like he is trying to give it one last shot and is taking it seriously...

Dude is great for the sport, not sure how anyone can dislike the guy. I've seen him around here and there at least ten times and he'll always shoot the **** for a minute...

He's a throwback warrior, if there were more like him around boxing would be much better off...

Toney HAD more skill than anyone in the division, before he was shot, but skill doesn't mean **** when you are fighting a 6 foot 5 inch tall man with the best jab in the heavyweight division and you can't punch back.

Wlad/Vitali by KO, any version of fat Toney at anytime in his career.
