Yes Toney being humiliated by the only great fighter hes faced really completes his legacy, and his career in teh heavyweights puts so many to shame... sigh...Toney who wins 1 in 6 of his last fights, able to beat Haye.... boring now, hang your head in shame.

I would hardly think a nation, that consist of 305 million ppl, yet doesn't produce the level of great minds, poets, authors, scientists or even inventions that a country with 50 million people do, is something to shout about, especially as the USA is in turmoil, financial ruin, unable to look after its own people, has 30 million people living below the poverty line, the highest obsesity rate ( Toneys considered slim in some states out there!) no health care or education system of note, and a high crime ratio is hardly the stuff of a grand empire (something teh USA also hasn't achieved) by the way, just because the USA was formed around 200yrs ago, doesnt make the country itself new... canada has far less of your problems, and is more respected world wide, so I suppose they accomplished even more in even less time? Ohwell, at least its a fairer comparrison.

Ever heard of McCAllum, Barkley, Prince Charles Williams, Nunn, Reggie Johnson, Jirov, Holyfield, Littles, Washington, Rahman (draw), Guinn, Peter I (controversial loss).

He started out at 160 and was competitive with the elite heavyweights. That in itself is an accomplishment. But I do not expect you to understand as you obvously do not have the BOXINGknowledge to be taken serously.

hang on tubs... we? as in we I assume you mean the British rebels, like George Washington who was a British citizen? or the we as in teh combined might of the Spanish and French military with a dose of Dutch military? all those combined against a country that spent all their money and long campaigns winning Canada from France a few years prior... I guess that could be counted as ''we'' though as far as the USA goes... it didn't exist, it was made up of mainly British settlers, so again brits v Brits with 2 major superpowers helping the rebels... when the USA was around, and tried to take advantage of Britains war with France, it got a good olde fashioned roasting, now off to K-Mart for some clothing, a gallon of choco milk and a pick up truck shouting ''yee hawww'' is it?
P.S why did Toney lose all his significant fights? and if Rahmans already beaten Toney , I hardly think Haye has much to worry about, Toney can fight an ancient relic in Holyfield... but Haye.. come on, dreaming, thats like an American coming up with a great invention that we all use, very rare indeed.

Nunn, wasn't he getting taken apart before the olde ''punchers chance'' came into full effect? i have also heard of Thadzi and Montell Griffin, great names, and yes the ancient artifact Holyfield, what a scalp at that time! Rahman, very talented fighter, hes cleaned up the heavyweight scene, controversial losses? no mention of Tiberi then? I am suprised... nope, still a bum.

Nah...you are reaching to say JT's legacy is in any kind of jeporady. He's already considered a legend in boxing and his legacy has been in tact for quite sometime....all that he did at MW would have been enough. Loosing to Jones in his prime isn't a "Tally" against him. Especially the well documented weight issues James had before the fight. James didn't look like James in that fight with jones...but it may not have mattered anyways since Jones was at that time amazing.

At HW james is Competeing! He's not loosing by KO or by humilatin fashion. Just him fighting in this division speaks on his ability and is praised, not discredited. Well....not by knowledgeable boxing fans. He's beaten Holy and Peter as well as Rahman....THose are decent guys. And as a true MW competing against the big men a logical fan or person would understand that in itself is quite the accomplishment.

Get a grip sweet cheeks. Yes our nation is in financail turmoil....look at the ****** we had running the country. With that said we are still producing great minds, incredible infastructure here and in other countries and we are still the #1 world power.....Don't hate man, don't get jealous...it's not a good look nor is it a trait a man should have dominating other natrual male traits.....leave the jealousy and the hating to the women...of course you Brit men wear skirts so I can see where this is coming from.

Of course it's not new...but it didnt take the US 200 yrs to be the worlds #1 power. And if Canada is more respected globally......well then I guess the world has got some issues! It's easy to HATE on the person or in this case the COUNTRY that is sitting at the top of the food chain....its no different in any other situation. People hate and wish the downfall of the top "DOG" so to speak. It's what makes TRUE champions work harder and stay motivated. Which is why we are not going anywhere as a country who DOMINATE in what ever we occupy!

Look....we as Americans are patriotic....of course we have our downfalls as people...Every country does. But we also pride ourselves in helping others in need. No one complains about the US being the #1 country helping out in world desaters or countries that need support, financially, economically or Morally. No other country goes to help other countries that are in need like we do...yet we got clowns like you...not all of your people, but just like you who ***** and moan like a 13 yr old girl first getting her period. Again..not a good look.

 

And at least we can't take the blame for Gary Glitter or Culture Club, or WHAM.
