But you only heard of these fights, repeating what you picked up by other haters on here, you never even watched any of these fighters like McCallum or Nunn or Griffin, nor have you seen these fights you talk of, nor do you know them more than catching their names on a thread somewhere here, that's the problem.

I mean you already lost your credibility here after only 23 posts, how can you expect somebody to take you serious anymore?

 

It's funny how Americans have a real superiority complex, so bad they use Toney as an example of a HOF, yet in teh HW scene, where its a bunch of nobodies, Toney goes around unheard of, making no statements, and ''not getting KO'ed'' theres the sign of a great fighter, someone who loses all the time, but not by KO. sigh, besides, Rahman didn't lose, he had a cut and it was a no contest in everyones eyes, and befopre that the great Rahman beat his plump arse.

Sorry, highlighting America's poor educational system, obesity issues, pollution, high crime, 30 million people living below poverty, inability to help its own people, etc etc, is actually all negatives proving America aren't the nation your typical American would have you believe, add that to the fact America spends only 6 billion more on foreign aid than Britain, yet we generate far less money and we have a national Health service etc to pay for, its a very meager amount from a country as vast and populated as the USA, so in ratio terms, Britain actually out performs the USA in nearly everything, now, let us thank Charles Babbage for inveting the computer and Tim berners Lee for the web he invented allowing us to air our opinions, while we're at it, we can thank britain for the plane, Phone, Tv, cement, Law system, lightbulb and electrical conductors allowing us usuable electricity..... I'll cut it short there, or I could be going on, it's a larger List than James ''eat out'' Toney's grocery list!

 

Would it help if i spouted bile about how great Toney is with say 600 odd posts? or would I become another person caught up in an American boxers hype? I watched Nunn and Griffin, not McCallum, and I saw both Rahman fights, albeit not live, Rahman is a journeyman, a career made from a lucky punch against a legend, nothing more. Pop Enzo in with Toney and he'd work Toneys face like a speedball, put Haye in with Toney, and the chances of Toney being deacapitated are odd's on, unless toney collapses in a heap climbing in the ring, all flushed and out of breath.

 

"Superiority Complex"???:huh It's not a complex when it's true ... All jokes aside, James is a pure fighter and embodies what boxing is all about. Regardless of if you don't like his personality outside the ring or if you don't like his physique what he does in the ring demands respect and is awesome to experience. His craft and skill are something that is timeless and is revered from his peers....even the ones that are like you, who don't like him personally. They just aren't as dense to try and discredit his ring accomplishments.

Of course in this era of HW's its not exactly what one would call deep in talent, but none the less what James has to overcome on a physical standpoint based on his skill is VERY impressive...to say otherwise would just further cement you turing a blind eye due to your unreasonable outlook of James or a more personal one than one based on credentials or accomplishments.

And yea...going off what happened in the rematch with JT and Rahman I can say Rahman was on his way to beating the former MW great and Presently Plump small HW. You clown....either you are borderline ******ed or you just don't have it in you to make an accurate or truthful statment when pertaining to James toney. Sure it was called a NC.....Hey, Rahman is sure happy about that too. But are you telling me that Rock didnt show HE WANTED OUT? Face it....Roch quit b/c the heat was turned up by Toney in Rd 3 plain and simple. Nuff said.

Lennox was the man, no doubt, but who did he win that Gold Medal for? Thats what I thought as well bloke. The closest you Limeys can claim to a HW Champ is Crazy Bruno. Haye is an overhyped Brit, who James Toney will **** all over.

Ok then I was wrong implying you didn't watch these fights, but out from your previous statements that's the impression one gets. But it's even worse degrading Toney when you actually followed his career, defaming the mans greatness when you know better.
Anyways, you also saw that Toney got robbed against Griffin then, right? Two times. Griffin, a very good fighter who RJJ had his hands full with. Whatever. And the Rahman fights weren't Toney at his best by a long shot, true, I suggest you watch the McCallum fights, Jirov fight, Barkley, Littles, Charles Williams and so on, I think you'll change your opinion on Toney and stop bashing him - unless you want to bash on him no matter what of course...
Maybe you just don't like him because he's from the US. That may be it. Well I'm not a US citizien either, but I recognize a great fighter when I see one, for me Toney could've been chinese and he'd still be as great.

Charlie, you sound like Hopkins after the beating Joe gave him, What makes America great exactly? let alone superior to Britain? I have listed just about all there is to list that seperate Britain from America, and I can't even imagine how you can claw back some ground from facts.... I'll give you one, America's one great achievement... space travel. Oh do you use Greek law? didn't think so.... but hey we can both be pedantic. Basically I have found a product of American education, someone who despite the blatant facts placed before them, has been so fine tuned by the American propoganda machine, he can't fathom a world outside of good ole USA, let us not forget, had we not single handedly beat the German airforce in the Battle of Britain, thus saving britain from invasion, and the next step America, or saved you lot in the Atlantic when the U boats pummeled you into near surrender, you'd not only all be talking predominantly mexican right now, you'd be speaking German also!

And back to the main point, Toney is still a bum, losing to medicore fighters is not a great achievement, had he been European you'd all be ridiculing him as the lazy moob slosh bucket he is. case and point.
