Exaclty! Toney should not even be fighting at HW. His dedication (or lack of it) leaves a great deal to be desired. Anyone who wants to be a boxer, do not look at Toney as an example of how you should live.

Toney talks too much. He's old, slow, fat, out of shape. Even his ability to avoid punches, roll with or block shots has diminished.

Haye is learning, Toney is forgetting things, not learning new things.

Dear God! If Toney actually remembered where his passport was and had the balls to come over here and chase the fight rather than hiding in the States shooting his mouth off I'm sure Benn would happily have closed it for him!!!

Easy to do over a video link from the other side of the Atlantic. Toney was never serious about chasing this fight, he'd rather mug for the camera and say "Yo Mamma" a lot whilst making no sense whatsoever!!!

It would have been a good fight no doubt...Benn is a tough fighter but skill wise he couldn't deal with James. the fight would be competitve early then James shows his class and wins a UD. Or Benn's lights would have gone out courtesy of a James counter right.

Man...if JT is shot then Peter and Wald must just be plain garbage. JT held his own in the 2nd fight with Peter and won the first fight only to be on the short end of the decison. That same peter lost a CLOSE contreversial decision to Wald whom was floored by the same peter who could BARELY get by a "Fat, Old, Shot and Smaller fighter with no KO power and is a blown up HW"....that's not a good look for the two main men at HW these days.

:good That's the only way to explain it.....in or out of shape JT is able to work consistantly (for HW standards). When JT is in shape his work rate surpasses any HW out there and his movement in the ring improves. So it's definitly better to have an in shape JT.

I'm not proud of anything, just making a logical response to those who STILL think that the everything in boxing starts and ends with what happens in the United States.

To be honest....I'm not saying that the best fighters are american, but the BEST fights and the best fighters come to America to take their skills to the next level and to get respect on a world level. Not saying that Joe isn't better than most American boxers b/c he is, but his level of comp doesn't match where he is in terms of talent and skills.

I watched a brit sports show on you tube, and the announcers had their heads so far up Haye's ass it wasn't funny...the guy has done jack **** so far, and they are acting like he's young Tyson.

...Haye should be ashamed of himself for his continuing to salivate for a Rahman match, after what Toney (the guy Haye don't want any part of) did to him.

...these hosts are impressed by Peter McNeely, to show how much these guys know.

...here he is still dreaming about Rahman...

If this bum wants James to knock him out, Toney already said..."Call Dan..."

No. No they are not. Jesus what is it with people on this site and not being able to understand sarcasm?

Bunce: "Peter McNeeley...who is a terrific fighter by the way...don't laugh".

And then you think it is them actually rating McNeeley. :patsch

...I think you should listen to it again, notice the look on Haye's face...like I don't know what this guy is talking about.

The guy isn't saying McNeely is the best, but he is calling him a good fighter, and yes he seems to be aware that only he holds this opinion...he tried to legitimize McNeely by saying he's sparring with Bowe or something, and he wasn't laughing.

If we disagree on that fine...do you agree with these clowns that Haye has caused the same type of "feeding frenzy" as when Tyson got out of jail...??? Or was that sarcasm too...???

People seem to forget the Toney has a small frame for a heavyweight. He`s just a bloated middleweight really but he`s always had that really tough chin along with his experience and skills to be up there with the heavies. But speed,as a heavyweight? You are joking.Haye would be more mobile and so much quicker i could see him knocking Toney over.
