Another Vick fight another canvas nap at his expense. He's been knocked out what 4 times in the last year or so? It's time to reconsider things. He's going to end up seriously damaged at this rate. No chin and doesn't know how to use his height properly.

Yeah he went on a decent run at 155 against lower level guys in the ufc then got his opportunity against top level fighters and got quickly destroyed by them all. At 155 or 170 he simply is not top level. I think he is still good enough to fight in the ufc on undercards but against guys who are not ranked. His chin seems to crack very easily which is not a good sign going forward.

I agree. He's sort of like the MMA Augie Sanchez at this point: a guy with fairly good skills who seems weirdly susceptible to suffering scary knockouts. The sound when that up kick landed was chilling. People are focusing on his recent skid, but his first loss, to Beneil Dariush (mostly a BJJ guy) was bad too. I think that was at UFC 199.

I was a fan of Vick for a while because he was a good fighter that was racking up win after win but was getting no where in the rankings. Those are the types of guys I sympathize with. He had some good wins too: Ramsey Nijem, Joe Duffy, Abel Trujillo, and Trinaldo.

But then he talked all that trash to Justin Gaethje, and when he did that he must have unleashed some hellacious karma...

As a sidebar, Niko Lopez doesn't win very consistently, but the guy is one of the most reliably entertaining fighters in the sport.

Yeah good points. Vick was in the cusp of title contention until he got KOd by Gaethje and of course went on this skid. Maybe he deserves another chance but I don't think he'll be able to fix his career up to the point where it actually matters.

Yeah dude. Price is entertaining really unorthodox style with a real knack for kos from awkward positions. It seems like every couple of years a guy like him arrives at 155-170 and gives us a good ride. I think he'll have a pretty consistent career with some ups and downs but probably falls short of cracking the top 10. That said there is room for improvement and maybe he'll go further than expected.
