Kagan does ask some good questions when he's not licking ****. Helder is poor throughout. I know the answer to every question he's asking because it's so basic
No point asking the question. Just wait until immediately after the fight for Adam Smith to predictably shout, "And just look what it means to him", for your answer.
If you don't like the questions hes asking then quit, your job, buy a camera for a few grand, fill your car up with petrol and ask boxers the questions yourself
I don't think his interviews are actually that bad, but agree that "that question" was asked far too often out in Dussledorf. In fact, I'm sure he asked Peter or John (can't remember which one) that question twice in the same interview, one right after the other! I find him and Kugan knowledgeable and fairly decent interviewers in the grand scheme of things. Sonny Donnelly is different story altogether, he is absolutely abysmal. Doesn't have any knowledge of the sport and shows a lack of basic interviewing techniques. The sooner they get shot of him the better.
When he was havin a go at other interviews for using iphones to film, that was a bit much. Everyone has to start somewhere, Ifl was small first of all too
Sonny Donnelly is a complete embarrassment & cheapens the IFL brand when I watch an interview & it's him I switch off. I know they're on a budget but he brings a whole new meaning to s****ing the barrel.
I prefer Helder to Kugan. At least Helder seems a bit more pro. Kugan just coughs, tries to have banter and puts on a horrific cringeworthy act. iFL is okay for British fight fans but it won't last. Kugan will ***** it up somehow.
The issue is that you have to ask half decent questions whilst not alienating the fighter/promoter. For example if go all Jeremy Paxman on Tyson Fury as he will likely not be available again. Some of the access they were granted over the weekend was superb, good to see all promoters getting on board with their brand.
NOBODY is worse than that utter buffoon Seckbach! I'm surprised he can hold an actual microphone, he's that clueless.
Kugan is better for the longer interviews. James would struggle with those hour long caravan gigs with Fury.
