noone is ever the next mike tyson, his name has simply become a marketing tool for inferior guys who cant cut their own legacy so they ride off mikes. Like we had a slew of the next Alis in the early 80s...but at least they usually won something.

I don't know how many "next Tyson's" and "next Ali's" I've seen come and go in the 30+years I watch HW boxing. Needless to say not a single one lived up to it.

Its very simple to me. The minute i hear someone say this guy is the next (insert name) i know not to waste my time or even get excited. I prefer to hear "man this (insert name) is a beast! Never seen nothing like him". Not much better but it atleast would get me interested.
