Jamie Conlan Fight , Worst Scorecards Ever Perhaps ??

    After watching this where Grados won the fight hands down for me buzzing Conlan on several occasions and then winning a 10-7 round dropping conlan twice , anyone else think the score cards were apauling with the both judges scoring it 96-92 and 95-93 to Conlan , wondering how that even stacks up with a 3 point deficit due to the 10-7 round ??

    Really bad scoring should have been his first loss, have to improve ten fold to beat the likes of Butler and Yafai.

    No where near worst ever, but it was bad. Clear bias shown. To think a lot of UK/Irish fans moan about German scoring too...

    Now now ladies ....stop being a bunch of drama queens. Being the home fighter against a foreigner from thousands of miles away is ALWAYS worth a point or two to a boxer. You guys should know that. Scoring was not inaccurate, well within the norm.

    Now Micky Vann did help by letting him survive the 7th - these days most (panic-ridden) refs wouldnt have.

    Bensub is right though in one sense - he will have to improve a lot against a Butler or a Yafai. Particularly his power. Can he do it - I doubt it. But good luck to him.

    The crys after it from the MGM stablemates where cringeworthy , saying he showed some ***** and grit to win etc etc , every single one of them knew that lad was completely beaten easily

    Agree mate at this point be silly putting him in with yafai or butler, maybe he should wait for his brother he might have a better chance, but good luck to him, more UK fighters doing well the better for me.

    I thought the ref got it absolutely spot on! He went down from a body shot, not a head shot, he had his wits and was defending well until the last 3-4 punches

    How did you score it ? I had it Conlon by 1 round, Most of you clowns havent a clue, if the ref had of jumped in in the 7th you would be saying terrible stoppage, he was defending himself and bobbing and weaving the whole time without getting caught clean, Micky Vann is one of the best refs around and the fact Conlan came out and won the last 3 rounds shows how good a desicion it was.

    I Had conlan beaten by 2 points , taking into account the 10-7 round gives him a 3 round deficit straight away

    Cant remember round numbers exactly mate from memory i had conlan 5 rounds grados 4 rounds then the 10-7 round for the KDS

    for me he was pressuing applying good pressure and landing the heaver eye catching shots , he had conlan buzzed several times
