Conlon might surprise us all (As underdog)but I have to admit it does seem a little soon! But he seems a real talent. Edwards has the experience but this could be a classic.

why? have you seen much of conlan? I've only seen him once and looked pretty good, throws good bodyshots and has a decent amateur background aswell.

No bias involved, I've seen plenty of both fighters and I thought Paul beat Chris Edwards but I think that Conlan might have too much skill (shot variation, movement etc) for Paul and take a points win.

Paul has beaten better in his career but I think that thats because of a lack of opportunities for Conlan.

CBA watching video could you give me a quick rundown of what sort of fighter Conlan is strengths weaknesses etc? He has a few stoppages on his record but is that more to do with his oposition?

P Edwards can scrap and he can box but his stamina was an issue against C Edwards

Conlan hasn't only boxing smarts, he has power in both hands. If Edwards wants a scrap, he will get one and come off second best. I can't see anyway Edwards can win this, unless Conlan develops a glass chin over night. John Breen [Conlans trainer] has been trying hard to get this break through fight for his man, and Donnelly, Power, Sexton among others have turned down fights with this lad, but thankfully Edwards eventually stepped up to the plate.
