He got any chance of winning on Saturday? Or is he a case of being guided to the shot then fed to the wolves? I really rated him early on but every fight even those that shouldn't turn into wars, lot of miles on the clock
He's not being fed to any canine carnivores. He's just a boxer who's job is to fight and that's why he is in the business. Jamie makes hard work of his fights partly through bad tactics and partly because he just isn't really that good a boxer at top level. Personally I wish him well. I don't expect him to win but I hope he banks a few bucks and gets out unharmed.
And he is not alone if he is. Have you seen Jamie Conlons cheekbones at weigh ins....sticking out through his skin like blades!
Conlan is always in good fights but imo his should not be unbeaten his been beat off fringe world level fighters but ave never seen his opponent so he could be a poor champion but if not its gonna be a tough fight for conlan but you can bet it's will be a great action packed fight as long as it lasts hope he can win it
A bit harsh, but probably accurate, unfortunately. He is a bit like Andy Lee .....minus the equaliser power shot Andy had....
He is good to watch mate and has come back from serious knockdowns in the past against fighters well below world level. Hope I am wrong tonight but I fear the worst if it is a war.
You literally can't miss conlan with a lead fight hand. He also lacks power. No defence and no power is not a good basis for boxing at upper levels. If ancajas is even remotely world class at all he should have too much for conlan, unfortunately. No pleasure in saying it but I can't describe Jamie as a world class boxer.
Really enjoyed the Paddy Barnes-Quezada fight. Both going toe to toe at times. Naughty shot by Barnes when Quezada was on his knees.
