James Simon Russan is a 5'11 08-24-86 Super Middleweight with a 23-0 13 KO's record. Born in and fighting out of Swindon, Wiltshire, United Kingdom. This 2006 Light Welterweight Gold Medalist in the Commonwealth Games is yet another potential star in the long line of Brit ruled Super Middleweight Division, will he be another Froch or Calzaghe? Or just another Groves or Buglioni? He's had a very slow start to his career which was temporarily sidetracked long periods of inactivity and with his arrest and 6 month imprisonment for assaulting a man outside of a bar in 2010, and by the looks of it he may find himself in even more trouble after being charged with assault in 2015. He seems to be a little bit on the unruly side, which is a pity since he has talent and possesses a fan friendly body punch happy entertaining in ring style. His unbeaten record is debatable since he won a very close controversial foul filled match against Obodai Sai. When he first started out he was somewhat featherfisted however he's been picking up the KO's in recent performances. He says he's willing to campaign in any of the Middleweight divisions and fight anyone so he is just domestic level or does he have what it takes to get beyond beating up local guys and be a contender? Russan is a variation on Rose so I figured that'd work as a nickname. So Check this reformed Punk Out.:ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

I have always liked him. Good skills and as you say, a fan friendly style. His want to have a good old fashioned tear up makes him exciting, but is also the reason why he struggles at times. Foregoing bis skills and getting stuck in doesn't always work well for him.

He is also a dirty fighter as often he loses his cool in the ring. This is due to the fact, and is ultimately what has and will continue to derail his career, that he is an utter gob****e.
