I don't know too much about Sai, but hear he's highly rated in certain quarters. Cox may have to be at his best, and not get drawn into a war as he seems inclined to do at times.
Sai might pull off the upset win if the lay-off has affected Cox. I say this as a total hunch. But, as much as I hate doing it, his ring record shows he hasn't actually stopped anyone with a winning record. So, AFROBUM written all over him.
Yeah, the fighters he's faced don't exactly fill me with optimism that he will be up to much, but i'm not going to write him off purely on the level of opposition he's faced, even though i probably should.
Just looked at the boxrec ratings and this sai is rated 33 places lower than martin concepion so think of this basis may go with a cox pts victory.
has anyone actually seen Sai fight??? Lets hope he is one of the better african imports and he gives Cox a tough test. Cox has allot of potential if his head is in the right place so be good to see him progress.
Nope, hadn't even heard of him until he was signed to fight Cox. I'm assuming he isn't the next Azumah Nelson ;-)
It's seemingly virtually impossible to get hold of any footage of Sai on the net. Let's just hope he has enough to make it a decent scrap.
Kos has seen the lad that he beat for the title and he said he was a decent fighter so could be a potential banana skin that combined with Cox having benn out the ring....
He does hold two wins over Joseph Lamptey, who, despite the unflattering record, looks a pretty decent fighter: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_S0Q2PejVw[/ame] http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10150289842965263&oid=145822985451663&comments (On this vid, check out the triple right hook he floors his opponent with at around the 12:40 mark )
3 rounds in two years aint great though considering he could have a hard 12 rounds against a tough Ghanaian .
Cox is a complete bell end, i can remember him knocking somebody down then pretending to stamp on his head.
