I only watched first 4 rounds of his fight last night but wat a disgrace he is. 3 warnings for use with the head. Warning punching on back head on the break and use of the elbow. His lucky the ref didn't disqualify him. U wud have thought after the low blows fight and trouble out of the ring he wud keep his head down and let his boxing do the talking.
Sure you remember the Cox v Sai fight? He should of been thrown out that night and Sai got jobbed on the cards you know it's bad when the crowd booed the judges decision as they did that night and it was a black tie event at the Hilton. Cox when under pressure fouls constantly and blatantly he won't get away with it if he ever fights a high profile opponent a leopard and spots come to mind!
I'll never forget that sai fight. I made a packet backing him in the 12th round because I could smell bull**** coming.
Jamie Cox can call out who he wants but he is 30 a lefty who fouls and doesn't sell tickets. The only obstacles in the way of getting a massive payday
He's going nowhere currently. Needs to fight someone at European level to see how good he actually is.
Yes, indeed. In my opinion, James on his day is one of the most skilled fighters in the world. I don't think we'll ever see him reach his full ability, because of concentration issues mainly, and not fighting for the full 12 rounds - a real shame. Some of the stuff he does is truly exceptional.
I was there last night & have to say it was the most disgraceful performance I've ever seen. He was filthy from start to finish, the Argie wasn't initially up for the street fight but Cox was relentlessly fouling him. He's an odd Charachter, I'd go as far as saying he should have his license took of him, I've never said that before about a fighter but he appears to be in no control of himself what so ever.
As for his talent, I don't actually think he's up to much - he bombards fighters with his physicality & pressure however soon as some one moves him a little he pulls the pin! Why would anyone of note fight him when he's like an animal, it's not fear of being beaten, it's simply that he's unhinged & as a result you'd want nothing to do with him. Jamie Cox - Joey Barton. Filthy!
