last hurrah for Jamie at bantamweight? everything will be against him but he has teh size and style to beat anyone at the weight. Could this be be one of them where he goes over to Japan gets beat and afterwards claims he can't do the weight anymore?

He's said for ages he struggles at the weight to be fair but obviously wanted one last - huge - challenge there before moving up

I thought he was definitely moving up after what happened in Monaco. What do you guys think he’s making for this?

Just a figure im pulling ouy of thin air but id say around $250,000.
You know what tho, im giving jamie a shout with this. Inoue is coming up in weight again so we dont know exactly how hes going to be at bw.
Jamie is a very confident skilled boxer type. He will have no problems at all going over to japan. Hes a very confident lad and if he sticks to the game plan which im sure he will im giving him a chamce here

I can’t see it. He said the weight is too much of a struggle and coming in drained against Inoue is a dangerous prospect. I think he gets brutally stopped but I hope I’m wrong.

Can only see this going one way.. McDonnell drained at the weight and we saw how well inoue goes to the body in his last fight... inoue by stoppage mid rounds

Yes he has been complining about the weight for some time now. That wont help him much when inoue targets his body, youre quite right.

Can only see one winner because of weight struggles but fair pay wants the big challenge and good luck him least he will try to win

Inoue’s style reminds me of Golovkin. Constant pressure with that jab, calm and collected, always seems to be in perfect range, and every one of his shots seem to land and hurt.

Huge credit to McDonnell for taking the fight. He has a huge height advantage but I just feel with the boiling down in weight that he could really struggle to hang in there in the championship rounds.

McDonnell has his head switched on. He takes fights where he gets well paid even if it means travelling. You cant knock that hustle.
