McDonnell jabs and steps back. Jamoye keeps leading with his right and catches McDonnell flush with one. McDonnell lands a 2-3 combo on Jamoye inside. McDonnell flurries and backs Jamoye into the ropes. The ref creates a nonsensical break while they're both working at close range (not clinching). They fight their way to center ring and there actually do clinch. Jamoye lands a good jab. McDonnell covers and dives in, and stumbles. A point is taken from McDonnell for pushing his way forward on the inside. McDonnell lets several jabs out while Jamoye slaps over and down with rights across the top. McDonnell tries a 1-2.

HARD right hand out of the gate by Jamoye. He then lands a good hook, and another right hand. McDonnell taking some heavy leather. McDonnell tries to get his jab working. Jamoye walks into a left hook between the eyes. McDonnell starts putting a few jabs together and Jamoye just angles his way inside and hits him around the side of the head. Cracking right hand to the face by McDonnell. Another. Jamoye slaps with a left hook. McDonnell hooks to the body. They lean together. Jamoye steps out, and McDonnell jabs. Jamoye misses an overhand right. McDonnell lands a counter jab over Jamoye's. Uppercut from Jamoye. Body shots from Jamoye. McDonnell lands several short love taps to the face at mid-range. Jamoye rips him with a right hand to the face. McDonnell lines up a 1-2 before Jamoye can jump inside. Jamoye with a high right hand. McDonnell with a hard hook to the body. McDonnell pushes Jamoye into the ropes and flurries. Jamoye lands another good right on the face of McDonnell.

With the point deduction, Jamoye by 1 point for me. That really mattered.
