He might gave a shout at sbw but i wouldnt give him much of a chance at fw... Hearn on a couple if occasions has stated that jamie is asking too much money. He doesnt sell tickets and hes not that exciting to the casuals who watch boxing on sky. Hes not high on hearns list and if i was him id keep hold if that belt as long as i could
Kalle was saying a featherweight super series is expected to be announced early 2018, reckon he might have his eye on that along with Selby, Frampton, quigg, Warrington, be a decent tournament if you can add a star like Rigo.
Solid hard working pro is Jamie... Solis should've had his hand raised for sure, but it wasn't Mcdonnell writing the score cards. He's adhered to the rematch, can't say any more than that. Hopefully see him win, fairly, this time around... then move up to SBW and chase those big domestic fights.
Just seen a Hearn interview saying bigger fights at bantamweight than super and wants him to stay at the weight?? Coldwell says 100 percent needs to move up!! Let's see who gets there way??
Well ok - but dont be so quick to give McDonnell a free pass and gloss over it. Until the fighters who get these 'gift' decisions 'fess up and stop shafting their fellow pros- and speak things will never change. in the recent hyland-ormonde robbery in Belfast, Hyland persisted in saying he thought he'd won the fight too! Basically its like McDonnell is in receipt of goods stolen from Solis house, knowing them to be stolen. As for the rematch - you can bet McDonnell was dragged into it kicking and screaming. He had a chance to show some sportsmanship and some class too - and he blew it.
Solis right back into it like the first fight. Having success with his right. Solis is open to a left hook himself! Exciting fight. Come on solis!
After 2 neither has established dominance. Seems to be McDonnells left versus solis right. Oh no a bad cut!
I had the draw at 25/1. It used to be called a technical draw but now it's a no decision? I wonder if i get paid out????
