Hobson cost himself money Primetime had virtually no buys for the fight same time as Burns on the same night as he was on SKY.....suicidal move should have moved it back a day.

It wasn't like there wasn't a decent gate on the night at the Keepmoat Stadium. It was the TV deal that made him nothing I remember reading the buy rate was in the hundreds only!Minimal flat fee from Primetime & % of buys = next to nothing.

Hobson did well for Jamie getting him the fight here but Jamie is world champ and needs exposure. Hard situation for him to be in

For a businessman which Hobson is that was a ridiculous business decision, absolutely idiotic, stick a guy on PPV who doesn't have many fans and put it up against a fighter who is more well known by a huge margin, is on skysports which most people have. Burns also received backing on sky sports news and adverts, why would a casual fan pay for someone they haven't heard of when someone they probably have heard of is free on there sky sports subscription, even now I just don't get it.

The stadium looked empty from the footage I saw. A really poor turn out. He'd have lost money on everything not just TV.
