The Dude is clearly not loyal and listened to "other" voices outside of ear shot of his contracted promoter.
He's an ingrate and deserves to be stripped.:deal

Loyalty is all good, but he's not getting the coverage he should be getting. Can't blame him for switching camps if it means he feels he can make more money for his family. Not as all boxers get a long career.

If you make the move at the right time, to ensure you do not get stripped of your world title then fair enough.

But to mess your existing promoter around despite his offer of opponents and dates thinking you are being clever and ultimately losing your title outside of the ring makes McDonnell and his hangers look like a right bunch of amateur ****s!!!

McDonnell is a very good boxer and a good person but this comes down to him listening to the wrong advice.

How much of this is Hearn going out of his way to turn McDonnell's head?

Eddie whispers in McDonnell's ear that he can give him the earth, moon and stars and the next thing he is representing McDonnell.

Whatever way it happened it didn't matter to Eddie that McDonnell was already contracted to another promoter.

The Hearn's are trying to buy up British boxing by capturing every good British fighter. They want totally control of all top level domestic and international boxing in Britain. They are going out of their way to crush the other promoters.

At the end of the day the The Hearns are East End barrow boys and that's the way they think.

Swifty will be next for the chop I can bet. Hearn is talking some right shite and they are listening. He isn't experienced enough IMO yet. Eddie will make mistakes and the boxers will be the ones that pay.

Your the type to moan about Sky shows that they aren't packed enough.

I'd like it if Sky and Murdock never existed.

I dont know all the politics but I do think Jamie deserves better than this.

Hope he can win it back.

Deserves him right. He wouldn't have got a shot at the belt if the IBF didn't enforce strict mandatory rules

Hobson risked everything he had into getting McDonnell a shot at a world title on home soil. McDonnell after the fight then goes on holidays when he should be milking the win in the media. Now he's done the dirt on Hobson and run to Matchroom.

It seems to me McDonnell is getting what he deserves. He listened to Eddie whispering sweet nothings in his ear and now he has no belt.

Hobson certainly did risk everything. again I'm not sure why but I wouldn't have been happy fighting the biggest fight of my life on the same night as Ricky Burns is (FREE) to watch on SKYSPORTS and on a PPV channel.

That is one hell of a risk.

Hopefully McDonnell can get back on track in the ring.
