Lost to a lot of mediocre guys too by the looks of it. Haven't seen him fight though so I won't judge.
McDonnell and his brother do nothing for me whatsoever. I imagine that thanks to Joshua's popularity he'll get very well paid for the latest non-event featuring him or his brother. Adds ZERO to that PPV bill.
Change of opponent Fernando Vargas who has 9 defeats and 3 draws This includes 2 points defeats to Rosas, his original opponent
Him and his brother have the genetic ability to weigh a lot less than their head/body would suggest. Hence they are able to fight in a weigh class where they have massive size and reach advantages. Remember seeing Jamie box Ian Napa a few years ago and they looked like they were 3 or 4 weight classes apart. Can see Jamie adopting his usual 'jab your head off' style and although we don't know too much about the Mexican, he wouldn't have to be that good to cause a few problems
Agree - Wembley Stadium quickly emptied when he done his ringwalk at Froch v Groves. Once a boring cant, always a boring cant. He is simply Eddie's Bradley Skeete
I think so. I don't think Jamie is great one of our weakest world champions but one thing he has managed to do is utilise his size and reach with a high work rate and get points decisions. Couldn't see him doing that with the likes of Frampton and Quigg so if he can make the weight comfortably then fair play
