Mad respect to McDonnell for this. Was supposed to relinquish to move up as making bantamweight is too hard, only to sign to fight Inoue at bantam in japan. Doubt he pulls it off but good luck to him

He'll get smashed by the Monster, but yeah, good on him for taking the fight.

JM might be the best bantamweight in the world and presents a more difficult challenge with his boxing ability and length (5' 10") than both Rungvisai and Estrada (though I prefer the styles match up of both).

    Who you got?

Damn! My boy Inoue finally fighting a top guy. I had Kameda winning the 1st and McDonnell winning the second, and I think Inoue is levels above Kameda. That being said Kameda is bigger than Inoue I think. McDonnell seems like a tooooough guy to stop though. But I think Inoue makes a statement and TKOs him.

I actually think Inoue does good against boxers.. But McDonnell does have a huge reach advantage. I think a prime Chocolatito was the worst match up for him since I've seen him in trouble with fighters who constantly pressure and don't give him space.

He lost to Solis but corrupt judges bailed him out.
And he didn't look good either, glad he's getting smashed by Inoue.
