Wouldn't be the worst Brit challenger for a title, and he has got a very decent win over Jamoye and looks to be constantly improving. Just a shame for him that BW is such a deep division. Hopefully the Bouziane fight can be made first.

:lol: @ Frank Maloney trying to talk up the victory by downplaying the mismatch aspect.

"Well, he looked great. He did exactly what a big bantamweight is supposed to do to a small bantamweight..."

Yes, Frank. :yep He did what you'd expect a MUCH BIGGER, prime bantamweight who might eventually flesh out as high as featherweight to do to a teeny-tiny shot bantamweight who is honestly more suited to flyweight.

Aye, it was supposed to be Bouziane tonight.

What happened? Did Malik get injured?

That makes like the third time in a year a Bouziane date has been canceled for whatever reason. He had a fight with Mijares scuppered in 2011, and someone else I believe.

What is this bollocks they are talking, 'mature, complete performence'

How does this fight prove he's ready for a step up? He'll get murdered at world level in my opinion.

Yeah, pulled out with an 'injury' a week or two ago. Not sure if it was specified exactly what injury it was, so it was intended that McDonnell had a decent opponent tonight :yep

Congrats to Skelton. I was always a huge fan of his. Anybody know what he weighed for this fight? I imagine it was pretty heavy at this stage of his career, but I'm curious..

Indeed, even the semi-shot and wildly inconsistent current version of Arce who looks rubbish every other time out these days (ie very good against Vazquez, bad in the Angkotta rematch) would have to be favored over him fairly substantially.

Not sure, Chuck. He looked very thickly muscled, not too flabby. A big brown brick house. :good

Holy ****, thanks for the info. on his conditioning guys. That is awesome!! I hope he keeps in shape. He is still a tough old war horse and I will continue to support him.

Maloney almost pretty much guaranteed that he'd be next for Price if he gets past Sexton. :patsch
