The problem i have with this is, mcdonnell looks alot bigger than the skilled paul butler. so he will probably ko him late.
A lot of boxers heights are meh but Mcdonnell looks legit 5' 9"- 5' 10" guy which is huge. It would be real hard fight for Butler I agree.
Butler should have gone after Haskins same size. Butler struggled with tete reach be the same with McDonnell but I agree butler is the more skilled and if Jamie mc performs how he did last fight butler wins.
Thats about it in a nutshell - Jamies huge height & reach versus Pauls better skills. But once someone gets past Jamies jab there is not much more to him after that. So it is possible for Paul to win - McDonnelll has a lot of body to protect and Butler has a good body attack. Be interesting who the bookies have as favourite.
Good fight, is this going to be broadcast by Sky? I'd favour McDonnell here on points. Should stick it on the Bellew-Haye undercard.
Butler was unable to deal with Tete - a fighter of similar dimensions to Jamie. Thats worth bearing in mind too. Maybe PAul has learned since the Tete fight? Maybe Jamie aint as good as Tete....
Definitely, I remember after Monaco Dave Coldwell explained that he's been at the weight since he was a late teen. No way to live really at his height.
Just think this maybe a early fight of the year contender. Both got great engines and probably will go 12 rounds as neither are big hitters.
Good fight this one or two advantages could come in two play Ie height and reach As some one already said interesting
