Round 9

Low body hook by Hall, coming forward but getting hooked in the ear and jabbed in the mouth. McDonnell keeps drawing him along but is caught by the ropes with a lunging uppercut. McDonnell gets his gloves up and blocks while moving before Hall can put much more together. Desperate hooks by Hall. McDonnell dives in behind his guard and bumps into Hall, then shimmies out. McDonnell blocks several lone jabs. McDonnell jabs at the body. BIG right hand lead by Hall!! McDonnell's head was snapped back as he paid for that slight gap between his gloves. Hooking combo by Hall coming forward!! Hall is trying to steal and seal the round in the final minute! McDonnell throws a hook to the body but crosses arms up with Hall. McDonnell does well to move and block but isn't jabbing much anymore. Hall lunges and misses some rights. McDonnell throws a straight right into the gloves.

Round 10

McDonnell throws some vicious left and right hooks while flying forward. Hall is taken a bit aback by the sudden aggression and the weight of the shots coming in from either side. Hall goes down! Slip! Hall lands a big right. McDonnell answers with a FLUSH uppercut while turning Hall. Jab lands for Hall. McDonnell ducks a right cross. McDonnell keeps moving, and is pounded below the eye by a pair of stiff jabs finding him. Big hooks by McDonnell pressing in after eating a right hand. McDonnell circles to the ropes, and jabs Hall in the face when he advances. Now hooks to the body by McDonnell. Hall throws his own body hook. Long jab by McDonnell lands. Right hand and a hook by McDonnell.

Round 11

Hall jabs and gets caught with a lead right. McDonnell moves and boxes outside. Hall keeps getting countered while jabbing. McDonnell turns his shoulder to absorb the impact of a big overhand right. Hall throws some sloppy hooks, caught on the backside. Big right hand by McDonnell!! He shoulders in and moves Hall back a step. Right hand up top by Hall. Jabs by McDonnell, circling out. Body shot by McDonnell. Jab gets through for Hall. Long right hand by McDonnell. Hall triples his jab but misses. Combo upstairs by McDonnell before moving. Big hook to the chest as he turns Hall. Jabs and movement by McDonnell. Good hook coming off the ropes. Big uppercut to the body. Hall lands a left hook down low.

Round 12

Hall jabs hard but short. McDonnell circles right. Jab from McDonnell. McDonnell ducks through a jab. Flush jab by McDonnell. Hall reaching. McDonnell moving, lands a pair of hooks. Hall losing as they spar jabs. Wild low-cutting hook by McDonnell misses from outside. Big overhand right by McDonnell. Uppercuts from Hall, dodged as McDonnell circles left. They're trading straight shots and banging together, shoulder to chin. Hall throws a wild 1-2, too high. McDonnell hooks the body and lands a big right to the jaw. BIG HOOK to the face by McDonnell. Jabs from outside, and a nice turning hook by McDonnell. Hall keeps pawing with his jab and throwing long overhand rights but missing. They grind together and trade body shots. Slamming hooks to the arms by Hall. McDonnell jumps back from some rights to the body.
