McDonnell is pushing a hard jab over Kameda's hairline. Kameda is ducking in, gloves up, trapping McDonnell's double jab on the knuckles. McDonnell is pulling up and planting his tent stakes and circling by inches, keeping a wide base, standing up tall, pumping the jab steadily. Triple jab under the guard by Kameda, tickling McDonnell's breastplate. McDonnell tries a lead right, too far. Body jab by McDonnell. Kameda is circling to his right and burying a right on the body. Double jab up top by Kameda, on the gloves. Three punch straight combo by Kameda getting through. Double jab feint by McDonnell, moving in to crash into Kameda's guard with a short right hand.

Yeah. Kameda had a few showy flashes late but over 3 minutes it was McDonnell with the head & body jab slightly more effective.

 

Round 2

McDonnell is slowly turning and leveling the jab at Kameda. Nice left hook by Kameda taking an incisive step inside. McDonnell is trading jabs with Kameda, his own sailing high and Kameda's stiffer one finding the mark on the point of McDonnell's chin. McDonnell cut by the left eye as Kameda circles in close and works the up-jab on the passing step. McDonnell walks to his right, guard bobbing up and down, neck bending in rhythm, as Kameda feints with a left hook. Step-through jab by Kameda. Fast straight flurry by Kameda walking past McDonnell's jab.
