    Dirrell is walking Rubio onto shots, barking as he lands the right hand upside the head repeatedly. Rubio is marching in throwing very wide, slow, telegraphed hooks, dragging wind, as though underwater. Dirrell is leaning on him with his tall frame, smothering with his forearms bunched over his face, then stepping out and throwing combos, barking as he loops rights into the body and cracks the chin of Rubio with power-jabs and hooks. Rubio shoves his way in close and scrubs the guard of Dirrell with a slow right hand pushed up a few inches from its starting point, no snap on it whatsoever.

    This looks like a video game where you play with Dirrell to fight crime and Rubio is the drug cartel patron you need to kill before you can finish the game, and you don't knock him out on purpose just so you can hurt him more until he begs for forgiveness.
