Jamie Mcdonnell - why no media attention?

It's not really underrating him, he just suffers from a lack of exposure and doesn't knock many out, also not many 'big' fights in his weight if you don't go to Japan.

 

Hobson does not get on well with Hearn according to his recent Boxing Monthly interview.

 

So what? He might as well have lost. He's had zero exposure since and is stuck in limbo.

We have 4 world champions and I guarantee most casual fans wouldn't be able to name McDonnell as one of them.

Sport isn't all about being well known to the public.

Success at a world level might be his main objective not starring in hello magazine.

any fighter who steps in the ring deserves to be well paid and when ur a world champ like mcdonnell no exposure prob getin paid less than fradley for fights its a shame

No he wasn't, but he was regarded as a prospect with a very good record and someone with enough ability that he was likely going to come over and stop McDonnell despite being the away fighter.
That didn't go to plan at all however.

 

what about Boxnation ESPN EuroSport or ch5? none of them showed it either.
