Jamie Moore as a pundit

Out of all the ex-boxers now pundits on Sky, im really chuffed Jamie is on their panel.

He has had plenty of wars and i doubt he ever got paid big money.

Its good to see Jamie working and earning a nice living in the sport.

Fully deserved

 

He maybe deserves a chance but his 'performance' in the Dirrel/Froch fight was possibly one of the worst ive ever heard.

 

Really enjoy listening to Jamie.

Thought Magic Matt came across really well too.

If he'd used the wrong word once everybody would have been jumping down his throat saying he was being disrespectful and bragging that he'd done better than Rhodes.

Thought he was really good.

Hatton was terrific:good

No threads popped up about how he's an arsehole so he must've done well.

 

I was about to mention that. All the good work he had done up to that point was unfortunately undone in that fight, and I don't think he has been seen (or heard) on television since. It was harsh, but he really didn't take to commentary at all.

I thought Moore was very good, he tends to be pretty solid when they have him on. Ditto Spencer, it was a shame that he went from being a regular pundit to just the odd appearance on Sky Sports News the morning after a PPV fight, but he seems to be back on properly a bit more now.

Magic Matt was surprisingly good as well. Entertained me more as a pundit that in any of his fights.

I don't think Sky are that far off a decent line-up, but their strongest line up of commentators and pundits-Halling and Woodhall on the mic, Spencer and Jamie Moore in the studio still seem far from regulars on the panel. I'm always harsh on Dave darts, but you only have to see the alternative to him when Newbon stumbled his way through the Froch fight to realise he isn't that bad.

 

Jaime has been a breathe of fresh air on the SKY panel really honest and speaks really well hope SKY keep him for the long haul.
