    As per the thread title, we can confirm that Jamie Moore has officially retired.

    In an era where superlatives are often dished out generously, Jamie Moore is, IMO, the genuine epitome of the word 'champion'. Deserves to enjoy retirement and I can wish him nothing but good luck in whatever he goes on to do. Screw the mainstream, the real fans all know who you are and will forever appreciate your emphatic contribution to British boxing, Jamie:good.

    A great statement from Jamie Moore there. Sums up the man really. A great bloke who gave the fans entertaining fights every time he stepped in the ring.
