Watch Jamie Moore's war with Matthew Macklin and you'll know that he's a tough ****er. He wouldn't beat Pavlik but he'd give it a damn good shot and would last longer than Lockett that's for sure.

Pavlik will fight plenty of Lockett/Moore type fighters before he's through. The Taylors, Kesslers and Mirandas of the world are too few and far between.

Plus, he has his mandatories. It's only fair to give up and comers their opportunity to prove themselves.

I dont think he would last longer than Lockett.

Macklin is another fighter who would get utterly raped by Pavlik.

Both fighters are garbage compared to Kelly.

Moore got knocked out by two bums. He may LOOK tough against c-level fighters but has little chance against Pavlik.

No he won't fight plenty of Lockett/Moore level fighters.

Lockett was a one off and both Moore and Lockett are absolute cans compared to Pavlik.

Pavlik will never fight a fighter the level of Gary Lockett ever again.

Dude sort your ****ing head out.

You think Pavlik is overated and you've got the balls to pretend that Jamie ****ing Moore could take on Pavlik and be even remotely competitive?

Moore is'nt even fit enough to wipe Pavliks arse.

The WBO and WBC #1 ranked fighters are Sebastian Zbik and Giovanni Lorenzo, respectively.

Don't know either of those guys.

He's just jealous of KP & knows he'd KO their biggest name in the game currently. Must I say who that is?

Is Moore the one who struggled with that lower weight very late replacement last time out. I always mix him up with another fighter - Murray I think.

Sweet jesus, I'm a big Kelly fan , I just don't think he is unbeatable and I think Moore deserves more credit than he gets , What the hell would jealousy have to do with it ?

To be fair in one of those fights it was because his hip just went that he lost(and by ko of course) . That was the Duran fight .

The other fight was very early in his career and he was winning the bout before getting stopped on bodyshots , a weakness that Moore has rectified so he's not as near as vulnerable as someone not knowledgeable of him looking at his record would think .

He'd put up more resistance than Gary Lockett but at 160 lbs he's just too small and I doubt one of his key advantages at Light-Middleweight(power) would carry up that well either . He's fringe World level at Light-Middleweight , but at Middleweight he's just fringe European level .

He occasionally posts on the British section of these forums too .

Moore is one of my favourite fighters and I think he is great to watch and I would love him to win a world title. But sorry he gets absolutely smashed to bits by Pavlik. Moore is not chinny but he is not exactly granite chinned either, and has been badly hurt and stopped by FAR lesser fighters and smaller punchers than Pavlik.

Moore is also easy to hit and has been kept on the end of a jab and busted up by the likes of Michael Jones who is domestic level.

And to top it off he does not hit especially hard. He hits well enough but lets be honest he has landed flush time and again on Macklin, Jones and others without putting them away. He does not hit as hard as Miranda and being honest not as hard as Lockett.

So really what chance does he stand against Pavlik who is much taller, has a huge reach advantage, has taken punches from bigger hitters and still won, hits FAR harder than the guys who have hurt and stopped Jamie and who has also dealt with fast, bigger boxers like Taylor?

The answer is none. Moore gets battered in a horrible one sided thrashing.

Moore should stick at Light-Middle and he really could have a shot at a world title, but whatever he does I will be supporting him.
