Moore stepped up a few levels and was found short. Look at the Manc's recent record and no one is worth mentioning. Good luck to Jaime but that step up in class cost him and nothing else.

Id agree, that fight turned around more because Moore's workrate started to slow down, he was not pressing the gap as much as he was earlier in the fight, Rhodes changed tactic to but Moore visibly tired after 4/5 rounds, that is what let Rhodes back in imo, Rhodes got more aggressive & was fresher because Moore had been the one throwing constantly early on.

Moore has been hit by Macklin so i cant see why he would struggle with Rhodes's power, Rhodes can hit to, but not like Macklin.

With all that said, i wanted Rhodes to win and picked him to win because i always felt he was a better boxer than Moore. I want lie though, i do think Moore might have been a bit weight drained.

Moore did not want to continue either imo, he looked at the referee when he went reeling back to the ropes as if to say im done.

Kerry has never said he is a conditioner that wat tv punditry say .
Kerry does the fighters weights with them and Nutrition he does not do the conditioning work.

He did not look weight drained, I was watching the fight with another bloke who was saying Moore was winning, but Ryan knew exactly what he was doing. The fight was fought at a fast pace and Ryan used his superior experience and conditioning to drag Moore into a fight. When Moore slowed down, he was there for the taking. It was a professional performance with respect shown from both camps. British boxing needs fights like these.

I thought it was the other way around, Rhodes wanted time and space and Moore would not allow him it, he wanted to put it on Rhodes and Rhodes wanted to fight at his own pace and pick his shots but he had to throw down and bang it out with Moore because it was not working.

What a great fight...this is what our sport is all about

I feel desperately sorry for Moore and really pleased for Rhodes at the same time! Morresy who's done brilliantly to turn his career around in the last few years and deserved a shot at a world title. To fall at the final hurdle is so tough on him...

But, equally Rhodes deserves huge credit for revitalising his own career and I hope he can now go on and lift the title if he gets the chance

Moore was throwing loads of shots, the defence looked a bit leaky from Rhodes, but you could see Moore getting tired. The pace and the shots he threw at Rhodes slowed him down. He could see that he could'nt hurt Rhodes too much. When Moore had slowed, Rhodes changed tactics and closed the show. The finishing barrage was as neat and accurate as I have seen for a while. Every punch landed.

Agree with you Tony, no bad feelings between the two, Rhodes has a second chance at the big time. He really turned back the clock. Remember years ago he was fighting Ottis Grant for the WBO middleweight title.

I'd like to see Moore build himself up the rankings again, it will be interesting to see who Rhodes fights next. Could he beat Chavez junior and is Martinez going to fight Paul Williams. If I was Rhodes, I would keep fit and look at a lucrative "easy" winable European Defence in the UK for now.

Absoulutly agree with you, I actually dont want Rhodes to take this fight even though its a easy win whats he going to prove by beating this guy, Moore would beat Chavez Jr, Go straight for the title Ryan Rhodes or if that doesnt come of european title defence until it does.

I dont see how Kerry or CNP can be blamed for this, last night was a great night of toe to toe boxing, tag anyone right on the chin and they will go, as far as I am aware CNP do not offer any products to protect a chin! Just general supplements which are highly recommended by many athletes. Jamies dosent train at Gallagers Gym nor does Kerry work his corner. Jamie uses the Bettabodies gym for weights and uses CNP products.
To say Kerry is no good for boxing is a strange statement, if thats the case why do so many fighters seek his advice and assistance. If by taking supplements with your diet and training programme allows a boxer to come down to his fighting weight without losing strength this can only be a good thing. We only have to think make to fights such as Honeyghan and Breland where Lloyd had no strength at all and didn't eat at all for days, times have moved on and I for one welcome Kerry to the sport and appreciate his contribution.
Congratulations to both lads last night, cracking fight.

I saw Moore on Granada News last night in a interview after the weigh-in and he looked very gaunt. I thought he looked slugesh right from the start and he didn't seem to have any strength in his punches.

Moore has looked great against poor opposition recently. He stepped up and fought a genuine European level fighter and did not have the answers.
