Where does he go now after the Rhodes fight??

Tremendous fight where he lost no dignity in defeat but while there is talk of Rhodes getting fights across the pond does Moore have to rebuild? Macklin fights Pirog after beating a reputable Asikainen, so who is Moore's Asikainen??

Heard he is fighting Niel Sinclair for the Irish Light Middleweight title. So I don't think making weight was a promlem.

If he is moving up I think he needs to have a fight agaisnt an average middleweight and then try and get a shot at Macklins for the European. Its a big fight that everyone on the country wants to see and the biggest money fight for him. If he wins he goes top 10 in the alphabets and can build to a title shot.

    Irish/American James Moore??

As for Jamie Moore, I'd like to see him go for the British/Commonwealth at MW if Barker vacates, then we could have a very nice triangle of Moore/Barker/Macklin in a few years at world level.

Moore can still be a contender on the domestic scene.

I wold like to see him in against Martin Murray or John Duddy in his next fight - more so for us fans :yep

Just a decent domestic test at middleweight will do at first, then he can move on from there.

Yes. He his still a good fighter but was never going to be able to challenge on the world scene and the European level guys at middle are probably better than what he can muster now. Domestically he can be a good test for anyone and who knows with a little luck he can get another Euro shot.

I agree with this. I have been slammed on this site for saying so about 2 years ago and predicted a Rhodes win. Not bragging just I just have never really rated Moore.

He won the European title which is an achievment but he never faced anyone paticuarly good at that level.

At middleweight I think he wont do to well. He was a big Light Middle and used it to his advantage bullying opponents. At middle he wont be able to do them same. Allot like Hatton and Welterweight.

    LOL.

its fair to say that Jamie Moore is back at domestic level right now. He was at that level in 2003 when he first won the British and Commonwealth title. It took him 6 years to get into the top 5 of an organisation so you gotta think if he stays with the same promoter it will take 7-8 years to get to the top.

I think he is going to be fighting at domestic and euro level. He is good to watch and will always pull a decent crowd but i cant see him making an impact at world level.

Yeah, but he did have a lot of injuries back then - against Duran he suffered a hip injury. Also, he was disqualified (stupidly by Dave Parris) in the 2nd Jones fight. These two losses obviously slowed his progress, whilst both of them could have been avoided and if they had been he would have been fighting for European honours earlier.
