Josh knew how Carl fights, Josh knew Carl likes as many of them first 6rds as he can get. He knew that Carl is sharper in the first half. Josh pulled the rug from underneath Carl's feet and contained Carl's strong points. Josh never let Carl stand in front and start setting himself, that's why we saw Josh circling a lot. Josh adapted to Carl. Carl couldn't readapt to what Josh brought.
Hmmm he had two 50/50 fights and the other his fighter was expected to be brutalised. Dont think its terrible results, both the main fights were comoetitive from beginning to end and the other, well did anyone exoect Fielding to do any better, he is levels below Canelo.
Not surprised there's a good few fighters about who don't know jack **** about the history or even follow boxing ..Jamie McDonnell springs to mind froch once said he don't follow boxing at all it obviously shows in his sky commentary ...
The late Enzo Calzaghe was the same or should I say only got into boxing because of Joe. Did exceptionally well all things considered.
Yeah Froch ain't a proper fan and it clearly shows. He is not a bad analyst but has pretty poor knowledge in general. Jamie McDonnell never really knew much about Inoue before heading out to Japan. Grave mistake really with the benefit of hindsight putting it mildly.
I agree. Josh got his game plan spot on. I just felt Frampton shouldn't have fought fire with fire as he attempted to do. It was ridiculous. Not that the result would've changed. I don't know if anyone in the division would beat the Josh Warrington of Saturday night.
