Smith is garbage. Not sure he would have even beaten Ali. Munguia does a demolition job on him.

Jaime Munguia as rugged and unpolished as he is will be too relentless to strong for Liam Smith.

I'm high on Munguia and think given 2 or 3 fights will be more than a match for Hurd or Charlo.

In regards to Smith I cannot see it seeing past 8 in a complete beatdown.

Don't know about this fight specifically but Mungia keeps his hands too low. He is going to get clocked by a good left hook. I kept thinking Ali was going to do it but he was too hurt (and frankly not that good) to catch Mungia.

Ali actually did catch Munguia with a left hook more than once. Unless Munguia works on his D, his chances at competing with the elite may be slim.

Ali is a bit of a featherfist, so I'm not surprised they had no effect.

Munguia is a bit raw, he's not ready for the very best of the division yet, but given the right fights he'll be there soon. Very talented fighter IMHO.

Smith is the kind of guy who'd steal your bike if you left it unlocked while you popped into grab something from the shop. I know his type all too well. Filthy little commoner.

According to Smith he's the best opponent Munguia has fought and he fought a better opponent already.

In my opinion it's debatable if Smith is actually better as Saddam, but he's right in saying he fought a better opponent himself. Although that's not saying much as he didn't stand much of a chance against the other Mexican.
