Bizarre end to the Carroll fight. He won every minute of every round but was cut over the right eye and between the eyes in the first, then under the bottom lip in the 3rd. He dislocated his shoulder just before the end of the 3rd and had to retire in between rounds. The Kiwi who had shown an awesome chin and toughness was a popular winner just by way of having hung in there despite taking a pretty decent array of shots without looking to fold. Brown V O'Connor was the fight of the night and if you get the chance to watch Craig Hill Jr - take it, he is a real talent. An excellent night of fights by Jamie Myer

Hannan won the first on workrate and IMO Hill won the next two, Casey gave it all but Hills was too classy in the end and is a very dangerous puncher - the result was always on the cards...
Casey showed great class in defeat and is a likeable lad.

Meant to write that..-stopped at the end of the 3rd-

Hannan did look good early. Hill's counter punching was excellent and when he got inside he was super productive- it was easy to see that Casey was being hurt in their and that the end was inevitable. Glad it got stopped when it did, Casey took some big shots against the ropes leading to the stoppage. I'd like to see a rematch in a years time maybe.
